Overview of Docs​

Welcome to the documentation of the Genes and Health Trusted Research Environment (TRE). This documentation is intended to provide an overview of the TRE and its features, as well as guidance on how to use the platform. The documentation is divided into the following sections:

  • Getting Started: Provides a step by step guide on how to access the TRE and get started with your research. This is not intended to be a comprehensive guide, but rather a quick start guide to help you get up and running with the platform.
  • Explainers: Provides detailed explanations of the various features and gotchas of the TRE. This section is intended to explain why things work the way they do, and how to best use the platform.
  • How To Guides: Provides step by step guides on how to perform common tasks on the TRE. This section is intended to be a comprehensive guide on how to do specific common tasks on the platform.
  • Reference: Provides a reference guide to the TRE.

This is a living document and will be updated as new features are added to the platform or as the platform evolves.

Finally this, documentation is open source and can be found on GitHub. If you find any issues with the documentation, or would like to contribute to it, please feel free to raise an issue or submit a pull request on GitHub. We welcome all contributions to the documentation.
